Tips to designing websites that are browser compatible

During early days, you would find websites that could be viewed properly only in certain web browsers. Now, the situation has changed as nobody would want to turn away their customer. Hence, a lot of effort is put into the designing and promotion of the website. And they make sure it is visible to every customer, irrespective of the web browser he is using.

A few tips to design a website that is browser compatible:

COLOR LIMITATIONS

You might have come across a website that has a particular combination of colors in one browser and it changes when opened in another browser on another computer. This change in viewing is dependent on the colors that are available in the color palettes and monitors. For example, a color that suits the eye when viewed in a 24 bit color system might just not be the same in a system that is set to 256 colors. Thus a beautiful picture turns into an ugly one.
