It absolutely amazes me when I talk to a business and they do not take their website serious. There are three general responses that always make me laugh and always love hearing:

“We do not have a website and we do not need one”

“We have a website, but it is not that great, we just use it for an informational”

“We built a new website 5-10 years ago and we do not need a new one.”

Three Common Research Mistakes Using Pay Per Click Keywords

When establishing your Pay Per Click Campaign, be careful not to make one of the three most common mistakes. Not enough keywords, brainstorming only tactics and relying on popular and free tools only can be detrimental to your campaign.

Do not get caught without enough keywords. Although the preference would be upwards of a couple thousand you should at least be able to come up with many keywords  that are relative to what your potential customers are looking for.  Make it easy for customers to find you by increasing your keyword count and throwing in all niche terms you possibly can.

Be careful of how you come up with your keywords. Relying solely on brainstorming doesn’t necessarily reflect the searches purchase intentions.  Brainstorming is also the most obvious method making it also the most competitive. Without the use of other tools, brainstorming will lead to only a limited number of keywords which as stated above doesn’t provide the best results.

Wordtracker and Google Keyword Tool are by far two of the most popular keyword research tools available. They are also used by your competitor, which means the results you receive are highly competitive keywords.  There is a lower conversion rate using these tools because the results are volume-based.

A successful Pay Per Click Campaign uses both Quality and Quantity. Having a core set of keywords and preferably thousands of niche words that reflect what your business sells and what your consumers are looking for has extreme advantages. Don’t sell yourself short by making one of the mistakes above.

Importance of paying attention to your Pay Per Click website traffic!

So I am sitting here preparing for one of the meetings I have tomorrow. I am in disbelief that a person could of spent as much money as they could of on Pay Per click through out the whole nation. I am not in shock about them spending the money, but the person who is there webmaster allows this traffic to go to a site, that should be a picture of me instead of what they have. How do these so called webmaster, web designers, and CTO not understand to look at the data daily! Because they do not know what they are doing. Tomm I am going to tell you about the meeting I had today with a web designer, that wouldn’t know what the adobe kit is!

I am looking at Google analytics, and there are key words they are and have been Pay Per Clicking with 100% Bounce rate, and majority over 50% bounce rate and above. You have to track all information everyone, there is no excuse you install it one time and let the tracking begin. This 50% means if there budget is 10k a month about 5k of it never really has a chance to convert. Of course I am summing this up you have to look at the over all individual key word bounce rate and that break the data down by cost per click. But for novices I am summing this up about pay per click.

All you have to do is make sure you use the data to win on the Internet space. Do not drive traffic to a site that people are leaving right away. The issue is not your key word it is your site!

I ask on every call the same question. I am going to give it to you all. What is easier to do double traffic to your site, or double conversions? (Meaning the site already has some traffic, also conversions means an action Phone call, email, or a purchase).

The majority say double traffic. It is simple double your conversions, make your site answer the people better than it already does. Use the data and make your site better for every key word with a high bounce rate.I use this analogy you have a overweight person that is trying to get a hot date. Is it easier to tell them to drop 25 pounds, than show them to people, or just keep going to one person after another until some one says yes. I hope the Gym was your answer, it is easier to double your chance if you look and are delivering the correct message! No difference on the web!

If everyone pays attention to the traffic to their site, it will give you the answers on what to do.  Yes you have to research your competitors but you have to do that any way. Before you start driving Pay per click philadelphia or any where else in the nation do the following.

When starting a Pay Per click Campaign in Philadelphia or any other area, make sure Google analytic  is on your site. Make sure you have your Pay Per click set the correct way, or you will get a Data set not read and than it becomes worthless to you. As you are doing your Pay per click look at the bounce rate on every single key word. Any that are real high you are not relevant for that key word to where you are driving the traffic to(meaning the page the traffic from that keyword is going). Simple solution change that page!

So as I sit here on my Friday night, and I think back on my week. We have had our best week  in revenue actually did more than any  full month since we open Local Internet Traffic. Next week our first three days are packed day and and every evening, with all new clients referred to us to for Search Engine Optimization in Philadelphia. Business is growing faster than we ever pictured it to do. So thank you to all of our clients that are happy and constantly refer us to other companies.

I really wasn’t sure what to write about tonight, but I have to talk about you the business owners. What in the world makes you think you can do what we do for a living? I sat with a CTO this week, for a National campaign that we signed on last month for Search Engine Optimization on a national level. This CTO is sharp and understand the space very well, and actually knows what he is talking about! Thank god! He actually will put his ego aside and learn, as I would if he knew something I didn’t know. Here is the kicker he says to me the owner really wants to know what we are doing, and how we are doing it. At this point I am like we are growing our company every month by 2 to 3 times in revenue what we did the last month. I believe in customer service to the max, but what can I tell you where do we start. This guy knows my resume, and has seen my other clients results. I will show any company my other company results as long as they do not work in the space. Isn’t that all the matter is the results we get you as long as we only use White hat methods.Well any way this guys has a CTO that knows how to read the reports, how to check the tools to make sure we are doing our job!

I am going to give you the keys to the Magic Kingdom when any of you hire a Search Engine Optimization Company Philadelphia. So I have to make this quick, but I will say this to everyone I was down at a conference in Florida since Friday all weekend! This conference was on Search Engine optimization and Search Engine Marketing. There was Brad Fallen standing there speaking in the room, and 90% of these so called  professional  players in our feild had no clue who he was, nor what he was speaking about. This lack of knowledge in the space they play in and they call themselves experts is truly amazing…

Is Search Engine Optimization Philadelphia really a young mans game??????

As I am sitting here in Florida getting ready for this three day conference on Search engine optimization. I am looking around the room saying to myself at 35 I might be one of the younger people here. The majority of people here are all above 45 or at least that is what they look!  I go to many conferences around the country and sometimes I speak on subjects, or sit on a panel, or just attend. This time I am speaking on Mobile Search and I always look at my audience before I speak and see how to make my topic entertaining, and make sure they all learn at least one thing from me.

But now back to my the question”Is Search Engine Optimization Philadelphia really a young mans game?’ I do not believe it is. I look around at   a lot of these conferences and yes I do see young people every once in a while. I have to say a lot of the time I am one the younger people. Maybe it is a maturity thing with older people they constantly what to learn and they want to make sure they are delivering the best Search engine optimizations results to there clients. Maybe it is they have more to be responsible about as they are all growing small to medium size interactive agency’s. May be it the younger generation think they know it all, or just go online and try and learn with all the online tools?

I know one thing for sure Search engine optimization Philadelphia is not just a young man game! It is the person with the most knowledge. Over the next few days I will be sharing tips and talking to people from all over different countries and different backgrounds. But the one thing they all have in common at this conference is they all want to deliver the best Search engine optimizations results to there clients. I am true believer the best way to learn is human interaction. Online learning is good for a lot of things, but I believe when it comes to Search engine optimization you have to communicate, test different theories and see what works best for your clients. The goal of Search engine optimization is not to get your client just rank organically but to make there conversions go up! More leads for them to grow there business…

Website design Company Philadelphia making sure you pick the correct one

So I was in a meeting yesterday with a gentleman looking for a website design company Philadelphia pa. He had a Superpages.com template that was built horrible and he spent years trying to optimize and get it to work for him. This gentleman was also doing there SEM program which the reports should be in another language, as there own reps do not understand them. The best part about dealing with some of these companies they wont give a firm like me access to allow tracking on peoples sites. Because information is power and you can see the issues with the products an services. I challenge any one on any call to provide better results, or more knowledge to clients about this space. I will share Local Internet Traffic results with any client or any firm competing against us, as long as you show us your information. Remember this any one reading this Post “People lie about numbers, Number dont lie!”

What was amazing is this client must have brought 8 firms in he said in the last weeks. He is trying to learn everything he can becuase he ranks decently not great for Search engine optimization Philadelphia pa. But is wonders why his phone is not ringing at all… (Site is Horrible looks like a blind man built, kicker is he knows!!!!!!!!!! Man stop thinking and react this is killing your conversions!

He has no anylatics on the site, because he did not even know what they were after meeting with all these firms. How can a web site design or Search engine optimization company walk into a client and not speak about tracking all information to prove value to them! That is all Local Internet Traffic does, we pound our results into our clients head so they know they need us! We work and get our clients ROI!

I found it truly amazing that Search engine optimization companies Philadelphia pa do not know this or they dont share with the client because the client knows no better! This way they do not have to prove ROI…

Oh yeah the kicker is this guy did not know url can play a role in search, or if you do not do the right things taking down the old site with each page he could use his organic rankings on the new site as it would like a new site and the history would be taken into consideration.

To wrap this up his site was terrible design BR has to be through the roof, he thinks he has the power to make the right decision but he does not because the majority of Search engine optimazation company philadelphia pa could not search for there child in there home and find them let alone get you ranked organically on google, Yahoo, and Bing. The misleading information and lack of knowledge from Website design company and Search engine Optimizations company is ridiculous, and we need some one like the SEC does the financial district to monitor us, because I hate undoing what these idiots do, and the lies they tell. It eats up my time to de program a client about lies, and it annoying!

I have to make this brief because I do not have much time tonight, do to the LIT workload! He did not show up any where for the other 30 keywords we ran, but what made it better he has Google Analytics on his site, so we use the data on Google Analytics to show everyone to be below the fold on Google search first page does not help to much. Out of all three keywords one visitor in the last 4 months! Try and build a business off those results.We went through a lot of points about using a Search Engine Optimization Company Philadelphia pa. The biggest thing I wanted to make sure people understood is make sure you know exactly what your getting when you hire you Search engine optimization company, as there are a lot of company out there that have no clue of what a page title is, let alone get you real results for the money you invest with them.
